OPERATOR'S RESPONSIBILITY
- The bus operator shall solely be liable for compliance of all laws including but not limited to the Motor Vehicle Act its Rules, applicable regulations, guidelines or directions enacted or issued by the Central Government or relevant State Governments. Any prosecution arising out of the contravention of such laws, rules, regulations, guidelines including directives on fare control from respective RTO's or directions including but not limited to fines or penalties shall be borne by the bus operator. The User agrees to take up any grievance resulting from cancellation or any deficiency in services due to any action of the enforcement agencies arising with the bus operator.
ROLE OF ApnaSeat.in
- ApnaSeat.in only provides a technology platform that connects intending travellers with bus operators. It doesn't operate any bus or offer the service of transportation to the User. ApnaSeat.in also doesn't act as an agent of any bus operator in the process of providing the above-mentioned technology platform services.
- ApnaSeat.in acts as a facilitator connecting intending customers to bus operators offering sale of tickets. Accordingly, the contract of sale of services on the Website is strictly a bipartite contract between the User and the bus operator listed on the Website.
- ApnaSeat.in will not charge for payment gateway, the payment gateway charges are charged to User at the respective payment gateway websites.
- The bus ticket booking voucher which ApnaSeat.in issues to a User is solely based on the information provided or updated by the bus operator regarding the seat availability.
- A booking is considered confirmed if the ticket page with trip details is shown to the customer, even if SMS/Email fails to deliver for any reason.
- The amenities, services, routes, fares, schedule, bus type, seat availability and any other details pertaining to the bus service are provided by the respective bus operator and ApnaSeat.in has no control over such information provided by the bus operator.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY OF ApnaSeat.in
- In its role as a technology platform to facilitate transactions between the bus operators and the Users, ApnaSeat.in shall not be responsible for the operations of the bus operator including, but not limited to the following:
- Timely departure or arrival of the bus;
- The conduct of bus operator's employees, representatives or agents;
- The condition of the bus, seats etc. not being up to the customer's expectation or as per the description provided by the bus operator;
- Cancellation of the trip due to any reasons;
- Loss or damage of the baggage of the customer;
- The bus operator changing a customer's seat for any reason whatsoever;
- Bus operator informing a wrong boarding point for the issuance of the booking confirmation voucher, or changing such boarding point eventually with or without any notification to ApnaSeat.in or the User;
- Bus operator using a separate pick-up vehicle to transport the User from the designated boarding point to the actual place of departure of the bus.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE USERS
- Users are advised to call the bus operator to find out the exact boarding point, or any information which they may need for the purpose of boarding or travel in that trip.
- At the time of boarding the bus, Users shall furnish sms/e-ticket/copy of the ticket, and any valid identity proof like aadhar card, passport, PAN card or voter identification card or any other identity proof issued by a government authority.
- Users are required to reach the boarding place at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
- User needs to compulsorily obtain a bus ticket at the regular fare in case a child above the age of 5 years is accompanied by them, unless otherwise a particular bus operator specifies otherwise in their terms and conditions.
- All tickets issued shall be non-transferable.
CANCELLATION OF TICKET
- Tickets booked at bus operator counter are to be cancelled at respective counters.
- Cancellation of tickets booked online can be done either through the User's login in the ApnaSeat.in's website or mobile application, or by calling support number before 10 minutes from departure after which no cancellation/refund will be entertained.
- Convenience charges and GST if collected are non-refundable upon cancellation or rescheduling. Only the base fare is eligible for refund or reschedule credit.
- Cancellation charges per seat are as follows:

REFUND ON CANCELLATION
- Refund for cancelled ticket is settled to same payment option used during booking.
- No refund will be processed for No-Show Passengers (Passenger who do not report at the boarding point on time).
- All Refunds are processed automatically upon cancellation of tickets. Your bank may take 5-7 days to credit this amount to your account/card.
- In case the refund amount is not credited to your account in 7 days from the date of refund, we kindly request you to contact support, we will provide the necessary support in crediting back the refund amount.
RESCHEDULING OF TICKET
- Rescheduling of a confirmed booking is allowed up to 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
- When a trip is cancelled by the operator, passengers are entitled to reschedule their booking to another available trip at no additional cost. A full credit of the original fare will be applied towards the new booking.
- For active trips, rescheduling credit is calculated after deducting applicable cancellation charges as per the cancellation policy.
- Rescheduling creates a new booking linked to the original. The original booking will be marked as rescheduled and cannot be rescheduled again.
- If the new trip fare exceeds the rescheduling credit, the User must pay the difference. If the new fare is lower, the remaining credit will be forfeited.
- Convenience charges and GST if collected are non-refundable upon rescheduling. Only the base fare is eligible for reschedule credit.
TRIP CANCELLATION BY OPERATOR
- In the event of a trip being cancelled by the bus operator, passengers with confirmed bookings will receive a full refund of the base fare. Convenience charges and GST if collected are non-refundable.
- Alternatively, passengers may choose to reschedule their booking to another available trip at no additional cost.
- ApnaSeat.in will make reasonable efforts to notify affected passengers via SMS, WhatsApp or email in the event of a trip cancellation, however ApnaSeat.in shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in such notification.
PAYMENT TERMS
- All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay, our authorized payment gateway partner.
- Upon initiating a booking, seats are held for a maximum of 18 minutes. If payment is not completed within this window, the booking will be automatically cancelled and the held seats will be released.
- In case of a payment failure, no amount will be deducted. If an amount is deducted but the booking is not confirmed, the amount will be automatically refunded within 5-7 business days.
- ApnaSeat.in does not store any payment card details. All payment information is handled securely by the payment gateway.
USER ACCOUNT
- Users may register an account using their email address. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities under their account.
- Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and booking. ApnaSeat.in shall not be responsible for any issues arising from incorrect information provided by the User.
- ApnaSeat.in reserves the right to suspend or deactivate any user account that is found to be in violation of these terms or engaged in fraudulent activity.
PRIVACY
- By using ApnaSeat.in, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use and protect your personal information.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
- Shipping is not applicable for this business.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION & GOVERNING LAW
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
- Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sri Vijaya Puram, South Andaman, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, India.

MODIFICATION OF TERMS
- ApnaSeat.in reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
- Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
- Users are encouraged to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
